Dear U18 Families,

Each season at the beginning of January, our Whiteout Tournament is one of the highlights of the hockey year. It provides our players with a fantastic opportunity to compete, build team camaraderie, and create lasting memories both on and off the ice.

The success of the tournament depends entirely on parent volunteers, and in particular, a tournament coordinator who oversees the planning and organization of the event. The role is well-supported by the association and many of the processes, timelines, and resources are already in place.

At this time, we are looking for a parent volunteer to step forward as the U18 Whiteout Tournament Coordinator for this season. This is a final call out.

In recent years, finding a coordinator has become increasingly difficult. As a result, the association needs to make decisions about where to allocate our limited tournament opportunities. If we are unable to identify a coordinator for the U18 Whiteout Tournament, we may need to reassign the tournament weekend to another division that has volunteer leadership in place.

We would love to keep this tournament with our U18 program, but that will only be possible if someone is willing to take on the coordinator role.
