SIGNUP: VMHA Coaching Clinics (Aug 27/28)

VMHA is pleased to offer two no fee Coaching Clinics for all divisions.  These on-ice sessions are designed to help those who are wanting to coach this season.  

Our coach development leads have put together information designed to provide practical ideas, share proven approaches, and help ensure our players have a consistent, positive experience across the association.  Whether you’re a first year coach or have been behind the bench for many seasons, there is always something new to take away.

Thursday, August 27 – 4:15 PM to 5:15 PM on Pearkes Green with Brandon Wong – BW Hockey

Friday, August 28 – 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM on Pearkes Gold with Chris Driebergen – Myelind Hockey Development

Each participant must bring: Helmet, Gloves, Skates, Stick

Registration is not required but we do ask you to complete this google form: https://forms.gle/AhW1iGJMD8tpUji9A so we have an idea of numbers.  

Please also ensure that you have also completed our registration form for hockey staff: https://forms.gle/cw9SHxvQQNZgVpuk6  Anyone in team staff positions is required to complete this form and be approved by the Rec or Rep Governors, Registrar, or Association Treasurer. 

Attendance is not mandatory but we hope every coach will make it a priority to attend at least one session.  By investing in our own lifelong learning and commitment to sport we create a better experience for every player in our association.

One of the strengths of our association is that we learn from one another.  These sessions are an opportunity to hear from two outstanding, experienced coaches who have a tremendous amount of knowledge to share, while also connecting with other coaches in the association and exchanging ideas.
