VMHA is pleased to offer Bust the Rust and U11 Transition for players in U11.

U11 Bust the Rust

To prepare for the coming season, VMHA will host two series of bust the rust sessions in August. Any VMHA player who is registered for the 2026/27 season is welcome to register for either or both series. Registration is first come, first serve and is clickable via the age headings below. There are no drop-ins.

U11 Bust the Rust Series 1 (click to Register) – total cost is $36 per skater / $0 per registered goalie

  • Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 2:45 PM to 3:45 PM on Pearkes Green
  • Saturday, August 15, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Pearkes Gold

U11 Bust the Rust Series 2 (click to Register) – total cost is $48 per skater / $0 per registered goalie

  • Sunday, August 23, 2026 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM on Pearkes Gold
  • Monday, August 24, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Pearkes Gold
  • Tuesday, August 25, 2026 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM on Pearkes Gold
  • Wednesday, August 26, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Pearkes Gold

Key Information:

  • Come prepared to work hard and have fun
  • Players must be registered at VMHA
  • Registration is on a first come, first serve basis
  • No drop-in players permitted – you must be registered in advance (and paid in full to go on the ice)
  • Please ensure you attend the sessions you are registered for, as there will be no refunds given for a missed session
  • If we don’t have enough players registered, sessions may be cancelled.

U11 Transition (Separate Registration required)

As a part of U11 Transition, VMHA will host three U11 Transition ice sessions in August for no cost.  Any VMHA player entering their first year of U11 (moving from U9 to U11) who is registered from the 2026/2027 season is welcome to attend any or all of the U11 transition sessions.  To ensure we do not exceed our ice participant limits, we are asking families to register via the links below.  Drop ins are welcome to U11 Transition only, based on available space (maximum 34 skaters per session).
