U15 Top and Bottom Groups (posted August 29th)

Good evening U15 Parents and Players! 

Thanks everyone for a great start to the season and assessments.

The player assignments for the top and bottom games tomorrow (Sunday) are posted on the Schedules page.

Based on the number of players in this age group, there are a few changes for tomorrow’s plan. 

The Bottom Group will be on the ice from 9:30 to 10:30AM, and will only use the “Period 1” ice time allotted to the Bottom Game due to the lower number of players in this group. There will be a combination of small area games and competitive drills aimed toward further evaluation. There will then be a break before the Top Game, and at least two players will also be asked back to the Top Game. 

If your player is in the Bottom Group, please ensure that they are aware that they are still in competition to make the Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams, and that there will be movement between the groups tomorrow as described above. 

All four goalies will be competing in the Top Game, with two also assigned to the bottom game to ensure players are able to compete.

For the Top Group, we may need to reassign some jerseys tomorrow in order to form teams. Please ensure that your players bring their jerseys and check in to confirm their assignment when they arrive. 

Volunteer assignments were posted this evening. 

Thanks to all the players for the competitive games today – please encourage all the Admirals to rest, refuel and bring their best again tomorrow morning.
