Victoria Minor Hockey is pleased to welcome Justin Brand as Head Coach of the Admirals U13 Tier 1 team for the 2026–27 season.

Justin brings more than 20 years of playing experience in Ontario, including junior hockey with the Whitby Fury and a successful collegiate career with the University of Toronto Varsity Blues, where he served as team captain.Since moving behind the bench, Justin has built extensive experience developing young players in Victoria. He served as an assistant coach with the Admirals U13 Tier 1 team before taking over as Head Coach for the past two seasons. He has also coached with BW Hockey’s spring programs and recently worked with Hockey Canada through its Development Hub program.

Justin’s coaching philosophy centres on helping young athletes develop both on and off the ice. He emphasizes skill development, constructive feedback and creating an environment where players are encouraged to recognize mistakes, learn from them and continue pushing toward their full potential.

We’re excited to have Justin continuing to lead our U13 Tier 1 program and look forward to the season ahead.
